Messaging on Climate Change
Over the past three years, the Climate Table has made a significant investment in messaging research. We retained Amy Simon and John Whaley of Goodman Simon Strategic Research of Oakland, California, to undertake in-depth, Maine-specific research to help us understand how to effectively communicate with Mainers about climate change and identify the most effective messengers. That work has been completed, and a toolkit prepared for the Climate Table to use to train advocates and share our findings with individuals. Our objective is to introduce a common language that is far more likely to reach people concerned about this issue.
